Our Commitment to Accessibility
Momentra® is committed to ensuring that our website and digital services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Because our mission centers on supporting aging adults and their families, accessible design is core to who we are. We are continually working to improve the experience for all users and to apply relevant accessibility standards across www.Momentra.com.
Conformance Standards
The United States does not prescribe a single technical standard for website accessibility. In practice, the accessibility of private-sector websites is guided by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and courts and the U.S. Department of Justice have widely referenced the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as the benchmark for conformance.
Accordingly, Momentra strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
We take a range of measures to support accessibility across our website, including:
- Using semantic HTML structure and clearly defined headings so that content is navigable with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
- Providing a “skip to main content” link and a defined main content landmark so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass repeated navigation.
- Allowing the page to be zoomed and resized so that text and content remain usable at higher magnification.
- Giving attention to color contrast between text and background to support readability for users with low vision.
- Designing interactive elements, such as links and buttons, to be operable and clearly labeled.
- Reviewing accessibility as part of our ongoing design and development process as the site evolves.
Conformance Status
We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our website, and we view accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time achievement. Some portions of the website may not yet fully conform to all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria, and we are actively working to identify and address areas for improvement.
Third-Party Content
Some content, features, or functionality on our website may be provided by third parties that are not controlled by Momentra. While we encourage our partners and vendors to provide accessible content, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content and are not responsible for its conformance.
